Ofcom releases the Communications Markets Report 2018

UK regulator Ofcom released its annual report on the state of UK communications markets. The report shows an overall decline by 2.1% across communications markets. Telecoms markets’ revenues fell by 1.1% on the previous year; however, while retail mobile revenues fell by 1.3%, retail fixed revenues had a slight increase (+0.1%). The report also cast a light on users’ behaviour, highlighting increasingly strong “digital dependency”.
